About

We study how food webs create links between water and land. We focus on how drivers such as fish species loss, pollution, habitat modification and bacterial invasions cause cascading effects across ecosystems.

Our lab has great experimental capacity, with access to a fully-replicated mesocosm system. We also work at larger scales, studying whole ecosystems with our research partners.

We actively engage in outreach activities, using our results to help governments and communities deal with real-world challenges of conservation and pest control.
